Founded by Master Cosmetologist Roxanne Ray, our brand was built on decades of experience, artistry, and love for locs, coils, and curls. From the very beginning, Roxanne saw the need for not only exceptional salon services but also professional-grade products that empower clients and stylists alike to bring out the best in natural hair.

What started in 1986 with Personal Affects Salon has since grown into a trusted brand recognized both nationally and internationally. In 2017, we launched LOXX™ products powered by ROXXLOXX™, bringing to market a line of high-quality hair care solutions designed specifically for locs and textured hair. Each formula reflects years of hands-on expertise and innovation—crafted to deliver results you can see, feel, and trust.

But we’re more than just products. We’re educators, stylists, and transformation specialists. Through ROXXLOXX™ Education, Roxanne has trained countless professionals, sharing techniques and systems that set new standards for loc care and natural hair health. Her courses and events bring together clients and professionals, creating a community centered on knowledge, empowerment, and confidence.

With over five decades of experience, Roxanne Ray has dedicated her career to transforming the way clients and professionals care for natural hair. As the innovator behind the ROXXLOXX™ System and the creator of the LOXX™ product lines, Roxanne combines artistry, education, and innovation to deliver exceptional results. Her passion lies in sharing knowledge, caring for clients, and giving back to the beauty community.

Rachel Yarro

Master Braider

With over 15 years of professional experience, Rachel Yarro is a master braider whose artistry blends precision, creativity, and cultural heritage. A native of Cameroon, Rachel honed her craft as the owner and operator of a successful braid salon before bringing her talent to Houston, Texas, where she has been serving clients for the past five years.

In early 2025, Rachel joined Transformations International Studio as our featured braider, offering clients her signature touch—styles that are not only beautifully detailed but also deeply personal. Known for her ability to deliver braids that reflect each client’s individuality, Rachel’s work is both highly sought after and admired.
